the visual update

Okay, it has come to my awareness that it is quite difficult to compose words about the cool stuff we're seeing along the way whilst engaging in mental gymnastics about our whole lives. So, here's some photos for you to enjoy instead, and since a picture is worth 1000 words, consider this a LENGTHY entry!

Start of the drive, escaping the wind and snow as fast as we could, still we were impressed by the landscape of southern WA and into OR. Seems only when you're leaving a place can you really see its beauty.

The first night, we took advantage of our timeshare, which was wonderfully homey. We broke out the computer and watched netflix tv in the tub with a bottle of champagne toasted to our journey. So decadent!
